I registered our class for CYBERDAY on October 8. It is a day dedicated to Cyber Security and Online Privacy. This is my first time with this event, so we can see what it has to offer. There should be something for both in class and remote learning. I'll keep you posted.

Hi Everyone - I started going through your "Computers and You" assignments. A number of you mentioned that you'd like to learn coding. I love coding and will encourage everyone to give it a try. Here are some ways you can start.
- visit code.org and do anyone of the Hour of Code modules
- visit scratch.mit.edu to learn to code in scratch
- take computer science next year!
In part 2 of this course we will learn to code using HTML in the web design unit. Perhaps we can ad a little coding too :)

Today we are starting to learn about spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel. Here is the information you will need to do today's lesson including the powerpoint slides, assignments and template. Do not download the template into Excel, but open it from here and save it as your own. Your file name should include your last name (For example: 03bakery invoice 7-21_LATIMER.xls)
